Smaller Businesses More Successful Than Large Companies

May 23, 2011 Polish companies employing 10 to 49 persons recorded good results in 2010, with over 77% of them recording a profit, which is a result minimally better than of large enterprises, the daily Parkiet writes citing statistics office GUS data. The result is better than in 2009, but still below the numbers seen before the crisis, the daily notes. The small companies' pooled sales revenues increased by 8% y/y in 2010, after recording a 3.5% y/y decline in 2009.
