PiS leader wants to replace third of party’s MPs: report

Jaroslaw Kaczynski, head of Law and Justice (PiS), the main opposition grouping, wants to replace a third of the party's deputies with young blood in this fall's elections, the Gazeta Wyborcza daily reported.
Kaczynski plans to keep the names on the party ticket a secret as long as possible in order to stop disgruntled old hands defecting to a rival party, the paper cited an unnamed PiS politician as saying.
Kaczynski has also launched a drive to increase discipline, warning that any off-message Law and Justice politician who appears in the media without permission from the PiS press spokesman will be thrown off the party ticket, the center-left Gazeta Wyborcza reported.
