Import of Used Cars Pushed by Higher Prices of New Ones

April 5, 2011 Poles imported nearly 100,000 used cars in the first two months of 2011, with February imports up by 12.5% from the January level. FY private imports are expected to exceed last year's result, spurred by increasing prices of new cars resulting from a VAT hike, Wojciech Drzewiecki of the market researcher Samar commented.
