Bank Pocztowy eyes stock market debut this year

Bank Pocztowy has filed an IPO prospectus with the financial market regulator and has announced it is planning its stock market debut in the second half of this year.
State-run post office Poczta Polska owns nearly 75% of Bank Pocztowy, which focuses on clients in towns with a population of up to 50,000. The remaining 25% belongs to listed bank PKO BP.
Previously Bank Pocztowy said it wants to raise some PLN 320 million from the issue to finance lending and strengthen its liquidity.
Bank Pocztowy recorded a net profit of PLN 14.4 million in 2010.
