Armin Van Buuren - Short biography

Armin van Buuren - The best Dutch producer and DJ in the world. He was born on 25th December 1976. He comes from a musical family. His father collected music albums and his brother, Eller is a guitarist. When he was 16 years old, he started to produce music and then he got a sampler with mono input. Three years later he started playing in a local club called Nexus. Everyone was delighted. In the meantime, he moved his production studio from his bedroom to a professional recording studio where he composed tracks such as "Touch me" and "Communication". In 1995 he released his first single "Blue fear". In 1999 he created his own brand ARMIND. In the same year he met Dave Lewiss, one of the people responsible for Armin's success. He also met other DJs like Tiesto or Ferry Corsten. At the end of 2003 he set a world record for the longest set duration which was almost 12 hours and 30 minutes. In 2006 he has received awards for the best compilation ("A State Of Trance 2005"), the best radio show ("A State of Trance - Armin van Buuren") and the best trance music video ("Shivers"). The single " Serenity" became the anthem of Sensation White. Now he is working in digitally imported radio station in which we can listen to DJs such as Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz and many more. In 2010 he promoted his new album "Mirage" . To promote the album he organized the event called "Armin Only". This event is very popular as it attracts thousands of people from all continents.
