Asking for money to open a business

Tom: Mum! I need to ask you a favor. Mum: What is it Tom? Tom: You both know I am thinking about starting a company. Mum: Yes. You told us last week. Did you make a business plan? Tom: Yes and I would like to show it to you. I made a list of clients and suppliers. I would like to start this November. But I need some money. Mum: And you want to ask me? Tom: Not exactly. I want to take a loan from a bank. But I am not sure if they give me a loan. I will probably need you to go there with me. Mum: Are you sure it is a good idea? Tom: Of course. I have been a computer programmer for many years. Most clients appreciate my work. Mum: Well, I think many people use computers and they often need help. You will find new clients easily. But what about organizing things? How will you manage? Tom: I don't have money to hire a secretary or an accountant. But my best friend studies economy. She offered to help me with money matters, taxes, permissions. I am also planning to attend a special course for young business people. Mum: I think it is a good idea. I will help you.
