Zimowe Igrzyska Olimpijskie - słownictwo

Już jutro rozpoczynają się Zimowe Igrzyska Olimpijskie w Soczi 2014. Te międzynarodowe zawody sportowe organizowane są co 4 lata. Pierwsze Zimowe Igrzyska Olimpijskie odbyły się w Chamonix (Francja) w 1924 roku.

Przez 90 lat zimowych igrzysk przewinęło się wiele dyscyplin olimpijskich. Jedne usuwano z listy rozgrywanych konkurencji, inne zaś dodawano. Co ciekawe, łyżwiarstwo figurowe czy hokej na lodzie przeniesiono z igrzysk letnich.

Zimowe Igrzyska Olimpijski Soczi 2014 są XXII igrzyskami i trwać będą w dniach od 7 do 23 lutego. Odbędzie się 98 konkurencji w 15 dyscyplinach. A czy znasz angielskie nazewnictwo tych dyscyplin?
